Hot on the heels of yesterdays post I bring you details of a month of fun challenges & awesome prizes to celebrate the second birthday of the ‘From Screen 2 Scrap’ challenge site!
Not only is there the usual Movie Poster Challenge, but the DT has been divided into four teams, each setting a challenge of their own, along with inspiring example projects & prizes!!
First up…the August poster challenge, which this month is a Golden Oldie ‘Holiday Inn’
The criteria you need to include are…
1. Use sheet music on your page.
2. Use a two-tone title
3. Use Navy & Red on the page.

Here is my take on the poster…
Another photo from Lee’s graduation day!!! I was inspired by the navy & red theme & the two-tone title especially! I have to own up to an oops!! When I noted down the criteria for myself I wrote ‘map’ instead of ‘music’ PP…so the PP pleated around the journal block & on the bunting is map PP not music PP…Pure blonde moment!!! (blush blush!!)
Then we move on to the DT Teams Birthday Challenges…
Using the film poster for ‘to Gillian on her 37th birthday’ as your inspiration…include the criteria…
1. Use a house or home on your page somehow.
2. Use sand/sandpaper/sand coloured fabric
3. Use green paint

This time the movie poster is from ‘Children On Their Birthdays’ & the criteria to include are…
1.Use white & blue for the background
2. A child or children celebrating their birthday
3. An umbrella

Great movie!!…& great poster choice for this challenge from ‘13 going on 30’…the added criteria are…
1. Use polka dot PP
2. Use numbers in your title.
3. Make it girly! Lots of pink, bling, froth & bubbles!!!!

& Finally…
Another great movie poster…this time from Marie Antoinette. Add in the following criteria…
1. Use a cluster of flowers
2. Use a close up photo
3. Use a title with the name of the person in the photo, in the title!!

You have been busy,Sandi...and really like the way you've done the second LO.
We didn't go into the caves at Cheddar....at £17 decided it was too expensive....though we did go into the sweet factory....and managed a little purchase in there!
